Volunteers

If you have a passion, a desire, want to learn about any specific topic, or just want to explore our area and beyond we ask that you volunteer to host or lead a group.
 

​Our programs depend on volunteers to continue the activities. Hosting a topic day (once a week, month or quarter), puts you in the middle of the communication chain.​
 

Special celebration day events could not happen without multiple volunteers. Planning the details, decorating, greeting people, becoming the liaison with vendors are all part of the process for successful events. We need help to make these happen.
 

​Logistical research and coordination happen only through motivated and interested people. Travel, whether locally, regionally, or beyond our small community requires planning, evaluation, and communication. That is done by people passionate about travel and exploration.​
 

Working in administration of the website, communication with emails, answering questions, helping research news and happenings within our communities is always a way to aid our mission.​
 

Becoming a resource. Being a friend. Inviting others to activities. Encouraging participation. THAT IS A VOLUNTEER TO US.
